This series is the record of the findings and recommendations of the accountant for the Committee to Investigate the Financial Affairs of Richland County. Information includes claims presented and paid from 1898 to 1904; expenditures for various things at various times--including shoeing horses and mules (1903), transportation of paupers out of the county (1903-1904), and outstanding liabilities. Included are the accountant's notes and recommendations on the way council's records were kept and discrepancies between entries in the Claims Book, Minute Book, and published report.
